CP Uche Henry Advocates Collaboration Against Cybercrime, Bags Excellence Award

The Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center, CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry, has called for stronger partnerships in the fight against cyber threats during a keynote lecture at the SmartComply Compliance & Cybersecurity Breakfast Session.

The event, held at Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos, drew experts and stakeholders from Nigeria’s digital economy and cybersecurity sectors.
CP Henry commended Smart Comply for creating a platform to address pressing issues in cybersecurity and digital compliance. He highlighted the growing challenges of cyber threats amidst Nigeria’s expanding internet usage and stressed the urgent need for collaboration between law enforcement, the private sector, and government agencies.

“As cyber threats evolve rapidly, it is crucial that stakeholders work together to ensure a safer digital space,” Henry said, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in building trust and strengthening Nigeria’s cyber resilience.
He also addressed key challenges faced by security agencies, including limited resources and the increasing sophistication of cybercriminals. His speech sparked engaging discussions among panelists and participants on strategies to counter financial crimes and enhance data protection.
In recognition of his pivotal contributions to cybersecurity and the fight against financial crimes, CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry was honored with an Award of Excellence at the event.

The Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Center reaffirmed its commitment to leveraging innovative solutions and fostering collaborations to safeguard Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.
