Managing Director, Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki, emphasized that while the awards recognize individual contributions, the event should serve as motivation for all employees to strive for continuous improvement.
“In an event like this, there are mixed feelings,” Maiyaki stated. “While those receiving awards are celebrated, it’s crucial to remember that everyone contributes to the success of KSMC. Maiyaki acknowledged the efforts of the committee responsible for organizing the three-day training and selecting initial award recipients. However, he expanded the list to include individuals at all levels, emphasizing that contributions from even support staff like security personnel and cleaners are invaluable.
“They have gone above and beyond in their duties, and their dedication deserves recognition,” he stated. In addition to the official awards, Maiyaki announced personal cash rewards for select individuals.
The former Managing Director Zubairu Idris Abdulrauf and Executive Director of Radio Abba Zayyan lauded the training and award ceremony as a significant step towards enhancing productivity within KSMC.
