Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has approved the appointment of new advisers, board chairmen and senior special assistants as part of efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate the administration’s development agenda.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa, said the appointments covered key sectors including infrastructure, peace building, healthcare, agriculture and urban development.
According to the statement, Balarabe Muhammad Bello was appointed Counsellor on Infrastructure, while Danlami Adamu will serve as Special Adviser on Peace and Conflict Resolution.
The statement added that Honourable Esther Ashievelli Dawaki was appointed General Manager of the Kaduna State Community and Social Development Agency.
Other appointees include Honourable Muhammad Abubakar Mamadi as Special Adviser on Political Matters, Yusuf Salihu as Special Adviser on Urban Planning and Development, and Honourable Yahaya Baba Pate as Special Adviser on Special Duties.
Also appointed are Abdulrahman Ibrahim as Special Adviser on Citizenship and Leadership, Hamza Ibrahim as Special Adviser on Primary Healthcare Matters, Muutasim Billah Yusuf as Special Adviser on Debt Management, and Bashir Idris Aliyu as Special Adviser on Agricultural Development.
Similarly, Tanko Bajo Kokwain was named Board Chairman of the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority, while Shehu Usman Dantudu was appointed Board Chairman of the Kaduna Market Development and Management Company.
The governor charged the appointees to uphold transparency, integrity and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
“The appointments are aimed at supporting the administration’s commitment to inclusive development and effective service delivery across Kaduna State,” the statement said.
